Kick off your boots and enjoy the sunset on the back porch . . . then soak your cares away in the hot tub.

Start the next day with a continental breakfast or a hot cup of coffee out on the porch  before heading out to see the area attractions.  If you just want to relax, it's just a short walk over to the 1-acre stocked pond, where you can fish, or just sit back  and enjoy the still waters.

Still Waters Ranch draws people from all walks of life to come experience the serenity of this place.  Couples have taken advantage of spending their weekends watching the sunset,  fishing, sitting by the fire pit at night or listening to the sounds of the birds chirping in the morning or the soft sounds of  the countryside at twilight.
Regardless of why people come here, they seem to find their way back.   A couple from Houston came back recently to celebrate their first anniversary since they had spent their honeymoon here.

Review:   Thank you so much for letting us enjoy the cabin for the weekend.  It is a beautiful place that made a great honeymoon weekend.   Love the personal touches and the amazing view.  We will definitely be staying again at Sophie's cabin.

What a rare find- a quiet, unpretentious country cabin with everything needed to rejuvenate. We needed to escape from the COVID-19 world we had endured for the past 8-weeks, away to an alternative life that we were relatively unscathed from, but still exhausted from.  The solidity and endurance of the tree you named Sophie is a symbol for us to remember.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us.  It was so nice to get away from the busy city for a few nights to just be able to relax, unwind and reconnect.   This property provided a sense of peace and tranquility and reminded us to slow down and enjoy each other.  The historic and beautiful oak tree "Sophie"  was just an added bonus.  Thanks again for your hospitality.
